Pair of Chinese relief carved ivory four season scholar's desk wrist rest plaques. One depicting a man amongst clouds and wind with his hat being blown off of his head. The next depicting an immortal standing over water with dragon emerging from the waves. Each has etched calligraphy to upper right with red seals. Each carved with very fine detail. Late Qing to Republic period. Includes fitted silkbound stands. Each measures approx. 6 1/2" height x 3 1/2" width + 7/8" height (16.5cm x 8.9cm + 2.2cm). Total ivory weight of 420 grams.
