Description

BREITLING - a base metal manual wind chronograph gentleman's wrist watch, the silvered dial with hourly applied silvered Arabic numerals, bordered by a minute track with Arabic divisions, subsidiary recorder dials to twelve and six o'clock, outer tachymeter scale, round case with stainless steel back, fitted to a non-original black leather strap with pin buckle, unsigned Venus calibre 31. Case diameter 35mm.

Condition

Breitling wrist watch, movement is functioning, dial has marks visible, discolouration towards the edge of dial and there is pitting throughout, there is also some damage to paint work towards edge of dial, blue paint work to some of the hands appears discoloured, all hands scratches, glass has light scratches visible to the naked eye, case is discoloured and showing base metal, there are scratches and dints throughout the case, case back is in similar condition, bezel shows scratches from use, crown is scratched but in working order, chronograph pushers are discoloured but chronograph appears to be functioning, watch is fitted to a non-original leather strap which is showing signs of wear with creases and cracks to leather, pin buckle is lightly scratched. This lot does not come with box or papers. Due to the opening of the case back we recommend that this lot be resealed by an authorised technician before use near water.
