ROLEX - a stainless steel automatic gentleman's Oyster Perpetual Date Explorer II bracelet watch circa 1971, the black dial with hourly applied luminous markers and minute track, date aperture set to three o'clock, twenty-four hour fixed bezel, tonneau shaped case, reference number 1655, serial number 3052676, fitted to a steel link Oyster bracelet with folding clasp, signed calibre 1570. Case width 39mm. With box and original bracelet.

Condition

Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date Explorer II bracelet watch, movement is currently functioning, dial shows some marks, luminous paint work appears slightly discoloured, luminous paint work has lost its shape in places, hands show some small chips to paint work and discolouration, glass is lightly scratched from use, case has medium scratches from use, case back is lightly scratched from use, bracelet shows a small amount of medium scratches from previous use, clasp is scratched but in working order. Bracelet measures approximately 19cm including the case. This lot comes with box and original bracelet and clasp which is scratched and stretched from use. Due to the opening of the case back we recommend that this lot be resealed by an authorised technician before use near water.
