Pair of George III Hester Bateman Sterling Silver Salt Cellars, hallmarked London 1779-1780 and 1781-1782, each of oval form, decorated with openwork lattice and laurel banding, with beaded rim and raised on four claw-and-ball feet, fitted with a conforming cobalt glass liner, h. 1-3/4", l. 3-1/4", w. 2-1/2", 2.89 total t. oz. (excluding liners).
