A choice Roman green glass bowl, 2nd Century AD, with convex sides and outward-folded flattened rim, on the outside rim two ribbed coils imitate handles, with ring foot. Raised circular area at center of bowl. Repair to rim, otherwise a very nice example of the scarcer type. Dia: 5 1/8" (13 cm); H: 2 1/4" (5.8 cm). Cf.
