A Roman pale yellow-green glass sprinkler flask, Eastern Mediterranean, 3rd - 4th Century AD, mold-blown, the rounded body covered in dimples, the base indented with pontil. The neck of the vessel is tubular with constriction at the base, the mouth widely flared with rim flattened inward. H: 3 3/8" (8.5 cm). A repair to the body, areas of encrustation and lovely blue-green iridescence. Ex English private collection.
