Prehistoric Gila Redware Effigy Turtle Bowl, measures approx. 6''H x 9.50'' W. Bowl has a Turtle peeking out of the front of the pot with his head and two front feet. On the opposite back of the pottery bowl, is the turtles tail and two back feet sticking out the the pottery bowl. This is a fantastic Turtle Effigy Gila Bowl in mint condition. No over paint, glue or restoration. Bowl was acquired in accordance with all Federal and State Laws. There is one small chip on the bottom ledge below the turtles head. Bowl is from a Safford, Arizona Estate Collection.
