REPRODUCTION US BULLET PIERCED BUCKLE AND ORIGINAL KILLED WOUNDED LETTER A reproduction Civil War Union belt buckle that has been pierced by a 1" lead bullet through the base of the "U." Manufacture of stamped brass and lead filled back. One of the three prongs on the back has been bent by the bullets entrance. "US" stamp on front with raised 1/8" border. In display case. Accompanied by a framed letter dated 1865, in Huntsville Alabama, written by the Commander of the Brigade, and annotated and signed by various other officers within the Brigade.
