Purchased from an old African American family who by legend made the basket and another below, the extensions of the handle almost make feet, wide and narrow splits, black paint around the outer edge and an orange wash or stain on the interior of the basket, 18" long by 13" wide and tall to the top of the handle, 3" tall on the interior to the lip or rim. Good condition, 189901920 era, likely made in Knox County, Tenn.
