The legs are almost whittled out, there is an apron on each side of the footstool that resembles the center of a corner cupboard or chest, seemingly all old Poplar with chocolate brown paint showing wear on the extremities, some nails and flat screws holding the pieces together. Just enough quirks to be considered primitive or folky, found in Eastern Tennessee, 1880-1910 era, 13 1/2" long by 9 1/2" wide by 7" tall.
