All Mahogany, handmade, 1870-1890, folky crest on the top, cut out apron each side and front, no doubt, this is a solid piece of wood and not one of the modern copies, 13" tall by 3 1/2" wide at the widest, the watch portion measures some 2 1/2" wide. For collectors who have never seen these, they were made specifically to hold a pocket watch at night and resembling a grandfather clock.
