8vo, rebound in recent smooth calf lettered in gilt, profusely illustrated with woodcuts. [xxii], 1126pp. Although lacking the title page, the present is a Latin Vulgate bible containing the Old and New Testaments, with numerous detailed woodcut illustrations throughout. Repairs to first few pages; dampstained; some loss at edges of pages; binding is very attractive.
