Seven panels depicting ten scenic frames accomplished in charcoal on paper, tipped to illustration boards, each panel approx. 9 ¼ in. x 7 ¼ in. In addition, a larger piece; a charcoal pencil and conte crayon to vellum, 19 ¼ in. x 14 ¼ in. Subjects range from scenic studies to spectacular parades. Directed by Ernst Lubitsch, Ninotchka is considered one of Greta Garbo’s greatest films.
