THE CAINE MUTINY SILVER “CREW GIFT” CASE, ENGRAVED TO STANLEY KRAMER - (Columbia, 1954) 3 ¼ in. x 3 ¼ in. x 1 in. silver-plated box has a hinged lid engraved with a line drawing of a U.S. destroyer with the number 18 on the bow. The inside lid of the box is engraved “The Caine Mutiny 1954 Stanley Kramer”. This box was a crew gift made by production for presentation to cast and crew. Kramer served as the film’s producer. This film earned Humphrey Bogart an Oscar nomination for his portrayal of Lieutenant Commander Queeg.
