Description

A Victorian silver keyless wind open face pocket watch, the white dial with black Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track, plain round case, hallmarked Chester 1893, fitted with an unsigned three quarter plate movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 56mm. Watch A/F. Together with a gold plated keyless wind open face pocket watch signed Dominant. Case diameter 51mm.

Condition

A silver pocket watch, movement is not functioning, A/F, balance is broken, tarnishing to movement, dial has tiny marks and bits of debris, small areas of light discolouration, hands hands are scratched and discoloured, glass is scratched, some of the scratches may polish out, deeper marks may remain, case has medium scratches and discolouration, dent on the case back, tiny dints and small scuffs, crown shows signs of rubbing. A gold plated pocket watch, movement is currently functioning intermittently, one pivot may be broken, may require a service, scratches and dirt to the movement, dial has tiny marks, light discolouration to the subsidiary seconds dial, hands are marked and discoloured, glass is scratched, some may polish out, deeper marks may remain, case has medium scratches and areas of discolouration, wear to the gold plate, areas of pitting, a few small scuffs, crown shows signs of wear and rubbing.
