The shaped crest rail and moulded flat back features elegant shell carving at the crest and shoulders; the back is supported by a tightly upholstered seat and stabilized by flaring, moulded arms with elbow pads. The seat is supported by an undulating, moulded chair rail which features delicate floral carving at the center and knees; raised on cabriole legs and scroll feet. The seat and back covered in original tapestry featuring a wheat ground and colorful floral vines.
Very good condition. Tapestry needs to be cleaned.
