The value here is partially in the grade, but mostly in the fact that we have obtained 24 certified mint error 1999 full step nickels. The breakdown of the original quantity we started with is 1 MS63 coin, 6 MS64 coins, 1 15% off center MS65 coin, 1 reverse die crack MS65 coin, 13 MS65 coins, and 2 MS66 coins. Each of the coins listed has been labeled broad struck with the exception of the 15% off center coin.There is no price listed anywhere, at least not that we've been able to find, for the value of one mint error 1999 full step nickel. We feel like each coin is worth more if it is with all the coins. We're certainly willing to sell all of these to somebody at a fair and reasonable price and we feel that that in itself is a phenomenal opportunity!Can you imagine if someone unearthed 23 coins that were this high grade, only they had been minted in 1899! We're talking priceless! When you look at it like that, this is a sure thing.No doubt there is a naysayer out there who is saying, "But someone has to care, who cares?" This is the same naysayer who in 1961, when the US Treasury in Washington DC released 1000 coin bags of Morgan Dollars for $1,095, said, "You are a total moron! Why would you spend $20 for an 1893S Morgan when you can have 20 1890S's for the same price. Are you bleeping stupid?"So, when you measure rare coins, going up in value, one big common denominator is rarity! Yes, we've never seen nor heard of a 1999 broad struck nickel before we came across these nickels. If you're a long-term player, offer once, offer strong, and offer for all of them! If you want to pay through the nose, and offer one piece, then that is totally cool. Tell us what grade you would like with your offer.In late April 2010 when we looked prices for these up in the PCGS price guide, we were surprised at what we saw. Of course, these prices are for non-mint errors.
