Unusual early 1900's Italian antique white or cream side table that doubles as a curio, display piece or vanity. Stands on stately high cabriole legs with wonderful carving at the knees. Hand painted floral garland surrounds all sides including the mitered and concave corners in tones of yellow,blue,rose,pink and green. The glass top with unusual contours is widely framed with fan design on either side,center. The top lifts off,held snugly with wooden dowels in the table which fit into holes in the lid. The interior 4 inch deep compartment is lined in light rosy mauve velvet and the sides painted to match. Tiny bits of antique cream background paint worn with age. Overall in excellent condition. Measures 28H X 33L X 23.75W. .
