Meiji period, circa 1900, finely enameled on bronze with flowering branches on a pale gray ground, signature on base. 1 1/8"H. 3 1/4"W. 3 1/4"D. Provenance: The S.T. Wellman Estate. Condition: excellent, light corrosion to top metal edge of box, three tiny "pin Pricks" to enamel lid which cannot be felt and do not interrupt aesthetic value of piece.
