Elvis Presley Las Vegas Hilton Original Press Release (1975) and Elvis Concert Photo Album (1977), both with COAs. The Las Vegas Hilton and Elvis Presley had a great partnership from 1969 until his death. Elvis made his first appearances there during July and August of 1969, selling out 58 consecutive shows to rave reviews. Elvis was booked to play the Las Vegas every February and August. A change in that schedule and a major new construction project prompted the Hilton to issue this Press Release. It announces that Elvis' scheduled February 1975 series of shows had "...been changed to coincide with the April 1 Grand Opening of the Hilton's $20 million tower addition..." Three-hole punched, 8.5" x 14", with one horizontal fold, very fine. Originally from the files of, and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, from Graceland. Also in this lot is a handsome soft-cover "Deluxe Volume 'A' Photo Album" of 64 pages in a gold-foil box, copyrighted 1977 and distributed by Factors, Etc., Inc. This "...was exclusively prepared in anticipation of concerts to have been performed by the late Elvis Presley" as stated on the included Certificate of Authenticity signed in facsimile by Vernon Presley. Book in excellent condition; box has light wear.
