Description
A MAROON LAMA'S "TSUDRUK" RUG, Tibet, early 20th century. This minimalistic rug has a very desirable thick and soft monk's robe red/maroon colored pile. This rug consists of four separate strips as it can be seen from the back of the rug. These rugs would be woven as separate strips on back strap looms and then joined to create a full fledged Khaden. 171.25cm x 65cm.
