A Victorian silver key wind open face pocket watch signed Johnson, Preston, the off-white enamel dial with hourly applied Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track, subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock, round case hallmarked London 1869, rubbed milled band, vacant cartouche to the rear, fitted with a signed full plate fusee and chain movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 51mm.
A pocket watch, movement is not functioning, A/F, dial is discoloured with tiny marks, would benefit from a clean as residue is visible, most noticeably round the edge of the subsidiary seconds dial, hands are lightly scratched and discoloured, slightly bent, glass would benefit from a clean as residue is visible, glass is scratched, some of the scratches may polish out, deeper marks may remain, case is discoloured and has medium scratches, areas of wear, small scuffs, areas of light pitting, evidence of rubbing, crown is rubbed and scratched from use, bow is missing.
