GALLE CAMEO GLASS BUD VASE, C. 1925, H 2 1/2", DIA 3":Round with tapering sides, acid-cut leafy branch motif decorated in two shades of green, on a shaded pink to white ground, signed "Galle" in cameo.
Light scratches to the base. Chs There is a miniscule chip to the edge of one leaf. There is a thin, translucent line (approx. 1") visible from the outside but not visible from the inside, which does not appear to be a crack and cannot be felt on the surface. It is not known whether the edges have been ground down. We believe this piece to be original but authenticity is not guaranteed. EG
