ARTIST: ANNE COLLARD TITLE: Bobby and Marilyn  * BIO: * BORN : BELGIUM 1954  * EDUCATION: ART COLLEGE, MARIE - THERESE INSTITUTE, BELGIUM * Anne has had a fascination with "POP-ART" since early childhood so, It is not surprising that she produced a series of large portraits as a kind of tribute to MARILYN, MAO, BOB MARLEY, THE BEATLES, THE KENNEDYS, GHANDI and CHE GEVARA. * In the next stage of her exploration of the "POP-ART WORLD", she introduced plexi boxes into her creations so that you were not only in front of the paintings, but also in front of something which could be on a table or a furniture.  * She started using mirror paper for the background to create a kind of reflection with the spectator. * She then introduced "MUSIC PAPER" to cover nude women bodies associated of course with acrylic paints. The association of painting and music became quite interesting. * Her work has been exhibited in many countries as well as in numerous private collections mostly in Europe. * Anne Collard presently lives and works in Luxembourg. *   *
