HISTORICAL BLOWN MOLDED GLASS FLASK WITH EAGLE AND 10 STARS. American, 19th century, olive green, pontil scar 7"x4". NOTE: The following information added to the description
Medium to noticeable surface scratches and surface abrasions scattered throughout; Scattered yellowed pigment/discoloration to one side, concentrated in an approx. 1 inch x 1 inch area at middle side -- appears to be on the surface of the interior -- however, because of its placement, cannot confirm it is on the surface; Otherwise, no other apparent significant condition issues with the lot. NOTE The following information was added to the description on August 10th: Interior of the bottle was cleaned with brush removing the majority of the yellow pigment -- remnants of yellow pigment is still present, particularly on the ribbed side. Cleaning also revealed a small tear-drop sized bubble (not burst) near the side. The stars and pearls are not distinct, but they appear to 5 pointed stars and there appears to be 28 pearls. Color appears to be closer to olive green than a forest green.
