A glass flask that has "Avenue Hotel S&R No. 6 Opposite Ferrry" on the front. The Avenue hotel was a classic 18th century tavern that stood near the foot of Kaighn Avenue in Camden, NJ, right by the ferry terminal, as advertised on the flask. This flask dates to the late 1880's, right around the time the old hotel burned down. Provenance: A notable New England estate Size: 6.25" H x 3.25" W x 1.5" D Weight: 7oz Condition: Very Good
