Work Size: 25" H x 32" W x 2.5" D Framed Size: 30-1/8" H X 37-5/8" x 1-1/8" D Weight: 8 lbs ************************************************************ Theodore Victor Carl Valenkamph (1868 - 1924) - A native of Stockholm, Sweden, Theodore Valenkamph became an East Coast marine painter. He emigrated to the United States and settled in Gloucester, Massachusetts in 1899. By 1903, he had a studio in Boston on Tremont Street in the Studio Building, and by 1909 had moved to Rocky Neck Avenue in East Gloucester.
Condition: very good; unlined; no inpainting seen.
