This Randall "attack" Knife #14 is WWII - Vietnam vintage with scabbard. Name & serial # inscribed on blade: J. V. Doniphan - 1570906 U.S.M.C. On reverse side of the blade: 'Randall Made - Orlando, Fla'. ''Attack'' Knife with semi-clip point blade with very slight spear point design, green grooved Tenite grip, steel tang pommel drilled for lanyard. Split smooth brown Berns & Martin scabbard shows football-shaped Berns-Martin logo. Lift-The-Dot type canteen snap on keeper strap. Two brass rivets at throat and three brass rivets at point, with steel hooks for combat web belt mounting. Scabbard made by Berns Martin Company, a premier leather holster maker founded in 1909 in Calhoun City, Mississippi. A similar knife sold on icollector.com for $5000.00. Condition: Excellent, blade shows nice even sheen with nearly no corrosion, appearing unsharpened. Brass cross guard shows light overall patina. Screw and grip show very minor handling marks.
