Description

Colt M 1873 .45 caliber, nickel plated, pearl handled Colt Single Action Army Revolver. Serial number 21908. All serial numbers match. "PAT SEPT. 1871, PAT JULY 1872" stamped on side, "COLT'S PT. F. A. MFG. Cc. HARTFORD, CT, U.S.A." Grips are mother of pearl and are inlaid with two diamond shaped silver plates engraved with one depicting a steer and the other a cowboy on a rearing horse. Comes with information Colt Industries letter stating the piece was shipped to H & D Folsom Arms Co., NY, NY on August 7, 1880. A period and likely original hand tooled brown leather holster with oak leaf decoration accompanies the pistol. Size: 13.75" L. x 5" W Barrel: 6.75" L. Weight: 3lbs
