British Pattern 1885 Cavalry Trooper's saber. 33 1/2 inch broad fullered blade, with British inspection marks on ricasso. Basic sheet metal cup guard, with Maltese Cross pattern on front. Blade is good, with mottled grey patina, and moderate wear. Dark brown pitted surfaces to scabbard and hilt. Some age related loss and deterioration to grip.
