Mighty Mouse is an American animated anthropomorphic superhero mouse character created by the Terrytoons studio for 20th Century Fox.   Mighty Mouse's super powers include flight, super strength, and invulnerability. In various films he has demonstrated * the use of X-ray vision, and has used a form of telekinesis that allowed him to command inanimate objects and turn back time.  The early formula of each story consists of a crisis which needs extraordinary help to resolve. At the decisive moment, Mighty Mouse * comes to the rescue. * * * * Here Mighty Mouse is showing off his super strength. * * * Original Printed Background and Animated Cel Overall Size of Background:  11" x 17" Overall Size of the Cel: 10 1/2" x 12 1/2" Very good condition * This is an original hand-painted cel set-up used in the production of an episode of "Mighty Mouse." Each one-of-a-kind set-up represents a slight change in position of the characters. When individually photographed and projected in rapid succession, the * images appear to move. * * To create production cels, the original animator's drawing is transferred onto an acetate cel (by hand-inking and/or photo copying). The cel is then hand-painted on the reverse side. The background accompanying this set-up is a reproduction background. * * * The printed background and cel are ready to be matted and framed.  There are creases and a slight tear to the edges of the background. * * *
