Ivory Horse Head Gun Cane-Ca. 1895-A finely carved ivory horse head handle with painted eyes, English hallmarked coin silver collar, with the initials "J.D.", engraved on the collar is also the name "Josiah J. Barty, Boston". The cane has another collar which is the locking mechanism for the signed "Brigg Pat." four barrel gambler's derringer with a 6" 4-sided pike blade, mechanism retains much of its original bluing and is working, approximately a 25 caliber shell, rich malacca shaft and no ferrule.
