17: Early 1950’s Vern Mikkelsen Minneapolis Lakers Worn
Early 1950’s Vern Mikkelsen Minneapolis Lakers Worn Road Shooting Shirt with "10,000 Lakes" On Back (Mikkelson LOA)(Rare Style)
Vern Mikkelsen was elected to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1995. He was a four time NBA Champion as a member of the Minneapolis Lakers, playing with fellow Hall of Famer George Mikan. He scored over 10,000 career points, over 5,000 career rebounds and over 1,500 career assists. Inside the rear collar is the “Lowe & Campbell” manufacturer’s tag. Attached is a white flag tag with “11. 16-2" X body length”. Across the back is “10000 LAKES” done in yellow on white felt. The shooting shirt is properly tagged, was presented to us as worn and in our opinion, shows wear. Accompanied by a LOA from Vern Mikkelsen.
