A very fine silver cane of a goose or swan. The silver crook handle is about 6" along the arc and 1" at its widest point. It depicts a nicely detailed head of a long-necked goose or swan with yellow glass eyes and a textured surface. It is marked "800" for the silver content and there are Continental hallmarks, perhaps German. The shaft is ebonized hardwood with a 7/8" horn ferrule. The overall length is 36" and the condition is excellent. It is ca 1910, and it is a super example in figural silver. Estimate: $1000-$1500
