Rare, original French Flintlock Pocket Pistol, ''born'' before the American Revolution Circa: 1740-1780. This untouched, diminutive pistol has the classic style of the Georgian period which was from circa: 1720 to 1760. The French style engraving on the wood is well preserved. The untouched flint lock is in working order. The hickory ramrod is obviously a very old replacement. To find an original flintlock pistol from the American Revolutionary period is a rare opportunity for the serious collector.
