JOHN CALVIN COOLIDGE (July 4, 1872 - 1933). 30th President of the United States (1923–1929) a Republican, Born on the 4th of July!
February 26, 1927-Dated, Partly-Printed Document Signed, “Calvin Coolidge” as President, upon Vellum, Washington (DC), measuring a large 18” x 23”, Choice Extremely Fine. Appointing Samuel Reber, Jr., who is a Vice Consul of career, as Vice Consul to Callao-Lima, Peru, and requesting the cooperation and recognition of the Government of Peru. Countersigned by the Acting Secretary of State. Normal folds, faint outer edge creases, and a couple of minor blemishes. Cream-colored Official Embossed Federal Eagle Seal is fully intact and overall is very attractive for display. Signed with a 3” long “Calvin Coolidge” signature as President with huge margins and a bold appearance. Ex: EAHA Auction, February 9, 2002, where it sold a decade ago for $748.
