Huge "Clark Gable" Signed & Inscribed Photograph 1950 “Indianapolis 500” Racing Related Group of Three Items
CLARK GABLE (1901-1960). American Film Actor most famous for his role as Rhett Butler in the 1939 Civil War epic film “Gone with the Wind.”
1950 Indianapolis 500 Archive Lot including Three items:
1. c. 1950, Huge 15.75” x 19.75” Black & White Photograph Signed and Inscribed, “To Bud from Clark,” on lower right corner, also Signed and Inscribed, “Best Wishes-to Bud-Troy Ruttman,” no date or place, Extremely Fine. Clark is seated with Ruttman, a race car driver who was the 15th place finisher in the 1950 Indianapolis 500.
2. Accompanied by a 8” x 10” version of the same photo showing only Gable’s head and shoulders, unsigned.
3. The 1950 “ - Yearbook,” measuring 11” x 8.5”, 112 pages.
