WIND-UP BIRD CAGE MUSICAL AUTOMATON, circular gilt-brass cage containing a single bird on a perch, not marked. Probably Germany. First half 20th century. 11 1/2" H, 6 1/4" D base.
Provenance: Collection of Helen and the late Bill Holt, Elkton, VA.
Some scattered light corrosion, losses to applied vines on perch, not working, probably needs cleaning.
