Le loup devenu berger, from FABLES by Jean de la Fontaine, 1952, total edition of 200 (Cramer, 22). Signed within the plate. Etching with aquatint and hand-coloring on paper, 11 1/2 x 9 3/8 in. (29.2 x 23.7 cm), unmatted, unframed.
Condition: Margins 1 inch or more with two deckled edges, subtle toning.
Condition: The sheet measures 15 1/4 x 11 3/4 inches. It has minor nicks to the upper edge, and staining to the reverse (primarily near the upper edge).
