John Benson (American, b. 1927)
Three Portraits: Woman in Chair, 1969, Family Portrait, 1969, and Couple, c. 1970. The last with the artist's stamp on the mount. Gelatin silver prints on paper, image sizes to 9 x 11 in. (22.7 x 27.8 cm), matted, unframed.
Condition: Each mounted with mounting film.
N.B. Benson was a student of Harry Callahan's at the Rhode Island School of Design. A closely related image was included in the portfolio Photographs: Rhode Island School of Design, published in 1970, which contained twenty-three works by RISD students.
