A bronze globular vessel with basal ring and funicular neck; to the shoulders two bronze rings with zoomorphic attachment staples; the lid domed with ring above; the surface ornamented with incised bands of armed men hunting and fighting beasts, between bands of geometric detail. Bronze, 4.5 kg, 42 cm (16 1/2"). Property of a London Gentleman; acquired before 1990.
