Antique 18th/19th Century Chinese Scroll Painting on Silk, Religious Figures, warriors, dragons, tigers, Dieties...painted on silk, laid on paper with silk fabric border. Two calligraphy panels, pink painted panel with gold fleck. Jade dowel.
Signed on left edge of painted panel. Chopmarks & seals. Also signed on outside of top dowel.
Dimensions: Overall; Approximately 25' x 12", Painted silk panel; 77" x 9 7/8"; Calligraphy panel; 12 1/8" x 9 7/8": Calligraphy panel; 15 1/2" x 9 3/4".
Condition: Good antique condition.Creasing noted at intervals. Some minor loss along the edges, small tears. Minor areas of paint loss in the scroll, water stains noted along bottom edge. Top wooden dowel is seperated but present. Jade pin has loss at point.
Provenance: Private collection of Ezio Martinelli, through his daughter & son in law.
NOTE: These scrolls were found wrapped and labelled. This had the notation "Ming Early Rel. Figures"
