oil on canvas, inscribed in pencil on stretcher Dame Ethel Walker of RH Bay, 51 x 61cm (20 x 24 in). The inscription on the verso of this work refers to the Robin Hood's Bay group of artists, of which Dame Ethel Walker was a founder member in 1925.
