Springfield Model 1888 Trapdoor Rifle, #140572, .45-70 cal., 32'' barrel, blue finish, walnut stock, with ramrod bayonet and leather sling. Clear 1890 cartouche. Condition is excellent. Breechblock appears to have been refinished and is an arsenal type blue; all other parts appear original. Stock with light scuffs. Action is crisp, bore is fair to good.
