Early 4th Model Winchester 1866 Lever Action Rifle, #154665, .44 RF cal., 24'' blue octagon barrel, brass frame, buttplate and forend cap; straight plain walnut stock and forend. Factory letter states received in warehouse Dec. 31, 1877, and shipped March 7, 1878 to Order no. 11333. Condition is excellent as partially restored. Barrel has been expertly refinished by Roger's Winchesters. Magazine tube appears to be a replacement as well. Barrel and mag tube retain approx. 92% blue. Frame with nice patina and very small nicks and light scuffing to left sideplate. Original perchbelly stock with light impressions and small scratches. Action is crisp, bore shows just the lightest frosting in grooves.
