Rare St. Etienne Marked 1906 Commercial Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol, #29979, .30 Luger cal., 4-3/4'' barrel, blue finish, straw small parts, factory checkered walnut grips, one nickel-plated wraparound body magazine with unmarked wooden base. Top of barrel marked ''Manufacture Francaise d'Armes & Cycles de Saint-Etienne''; top of chamber is blank; toggle is marked DWM; extractor marked ''Geladen''; lower portion of safety is polished; safety lever is the serrated type. This model is considered quite rare with only a handful known with French markings. Condition is fine retaining approx. 92% thinning and lightly toning finish. Straw parts show 90% color with very light discoloration beginning. Grips with mild flattening. Early stage toning to both front and backstrap. Action is crisp, bore is fine with only the lightest frosting in grooves.
