Smith & Wesson Four-Screw Pre-Model 29 Double Action Revolver, #S171503, .44 mag. cal., 6-1/2'' barrel, blue finish, factory checkered rosewood grips with S&W medallions, dating from approx. 1957. In slightly later mahogany case. Condition is about fine retaining approx. 92% original blue with thinning to high edges and at muzzle, and somewhat pronounced index line. Grips show some thinning but with sharp checkering. Action is crisp, bore is bright.
