Early Cased Ruger Super Blackhawk Single Action Revolver, #5888, .44 mag. cal., 7-1/2'' barrel, blue finish, original burl walnut grips with Ruger medallions, as well as faux ivory grips. Mahogany box is French fitted with red cloth lining and Ruger label in lid. This early revolver additionally features adjustable rear sight, jeweled hammer, and lacks the later transfer bar. Condition is excellent showing very light toning at high edges of cylinder from contact with material which seems to remove easily. Red nail polish to top blade of front sight which is also easily removable. Turned bright sides of hammer have toned moderately. Exterior of box shows minor scuffs from storage and very light toning to interior label.
