this elaborate hand made cr�che is from a small church in Austria and includes many beautifully hand carved and painted wood figures, some with amazing and amusing details. These include approximately. 20 figures (Mary, Joseph, wise men and shepherds), 17 animals (cows, sheep, etc.); all arrayed on a colorful 18 piece village and mountain vignette,
largest section 25" t. x 21" w., overall array is 5' wide

very good to excellent (some areas of overpainting and touch up as was often the case with such items used for many years)
