[Circus Poster]. Ringling Bros And Barnum & Bailey Circus. Offset color lithograph poster, with the head of a roaring tiger at center, and “The Greatest Show on Earth” centered above lower edge. Within border at lower left: “Local No. 8 Union Label/ Amalgamated Lithographers of America/ Cincinnati.” At outer edge of border: 53 ¾ x 79”. Sheet: 55 3/4” x 81”. Coated surface. On flexible linen backing (probably later, with additional linen strips mounted to edges of verso). Round metal attachments display at upper corners (in margin). Creases (mostly from storage), with some tearing (closed by linen). Minor staining here and there, moderate abrasion and foxing noticeable on close inspection. Very good.
